Christmas Tutorial: An Easier Way to Make an Ornament Wreath for the Holidays!

I love bright ornament wreaths for decorating for the Christmas season.  But from personal experience, I know they can be a hassle to make.  Fitting all those ornaments together can be like working a jigsaw puzzle, and these wreaths can require A LOT of ornaments to look full and colorful. 

So I came up with a tutorial that creates an ornament wreath from a plain grapevine form that is easy to construct and needs a lot less ornaments. The resulting wreath is a festive and fun decoration for your holiday home.  I have all the directions with photos on my Hubpages!

I also wanted to reuse the artificial pine wreaths that I usually hang on my front windows.  So I found a way to decorate these smaller wreaths to match my larger ornament wreath.  There are directions for decorating these pine wreaths on my Hubpages too!  Enjoy!

{Craft Tutorial} Falling for Fall: No Sew Fall Welcome Banner

This year, for some reason, I keep doing more and more fall crafting and decorating.  After dressing up my mantle with my Scrap Fabric Fall Leaves decoration and then building some Stacked Pumpkin Topiaries, I thought my fireplace still needed some autumn cheer.  So over this past (very) rainy weekend, I made this easy No Sew Fall Welcome Banner to hang from my mantle.  I love the festive color it adds to our dark (so far) unused fireplace.

This truly is an easy project that can be done over a weekend.  All you need is some fabric, a bunch of artificial leaves, and some glue!  You can find all the directions on my Hubpages!

Winter into Spring Double Grapevine Wreath Tutorial

I've found that I have a decorative lull on my front door just after the Christmas holiday.  It no longer seems appropriate to display my Noel sign, but it seems too early to put up my Spring wreath.

So I decided to display a double wreath that can be decorated for two seasons and extend the time that my wreath is on my door.  I decorated the smaller wreath with Winter berries, and the larger wreath with Spring blooms, and tied the two with white and burlap ribbons.  I think it really is a clever way to span the seasons and display my wreath for a longer time.
